Notes: This paper proposes a process model of reflective practice for second language teachers and offers a closer understanding of the relationship between language use and interactive decision-making. Using a combined research methodology which brings together conversation analysis, socio-cultural theory and action research, the paper emphasizes the importance of interactive decision-making in both teacher education and classroom performance.
