This intervention refers to the commercialisation and economics of public space. Cashpoint is an abstracted full-scale version of an ATM dispensing random $10 notes once every 24 hours. An integrated computer runs the cash dispensing mechanism. GROUP SHOW: Back to the City is a series of temporary urban art interventions taking place in the City of Newcastle in January and February 2008. Cashpoint has been collaboratively submitted with Prof. Michael Tawa, Newcastle University for this exhibition.
