Abstract

Supermen performed by 24 men in black suits and tie and Bach was directed as a silent play in 3 parts. This perfomance has lead to the commission of a short video piece to be published in the forthcoming Performance Research Magazine, Routledge.

Notes: Brigitte Jurack is one of the founding members of the artist collective Foreign Investment. First performed in 'Intervention' John Hansard Gallery, Southampton, 30 September - 15 November 2003 (group exhibition of 13 including R. Islam and E. Weinmayer) later reworked for Performance Research Magazine’s 'On The Page' (V9, No.2, 2004).
