Abstract

This book provide the insight into the mecnanisms of antigen processing and presentation by major histocompatibility class II molecules in professional antigen-presenting cells, such as B cells, macrophages and dendritic cells. The emphasis is made on the immnotherapeutic implications of the most current findings in this field, in particular on surface C-type lectin receptors and antigen targeting to a specific antigen presentation pathway.
