Abstract

The crystalline ion-pair [TiCl(NMe2)(2)(NMe2H)(2)](+)[TiCl2{NB- (C6F5)(3)}(NMe2H)(2)](-), in which the anion has a triply bonded nitridoborate ligand, is formed through the multiple activation of H3N center dot B(C6F5)(3) when treated with [Ti(NMe2)(3)Cl].
