Abstract

Over the last decade chelate-tethered nucleobases have been explored as models for metal ion-DNA interactions as well as to extend the molecular architecture of metal complexes capable of base-pair hydrogen bonding. Here we present an overview of the area. (C) 2008 Elsevier B. V. All rights reserved.
