Abstract

The Global Element Method is a (spectral) numericqal technique for solving elliptic and parabolic differential equations in two space dimensions. This report describes the user interface to a Fortran 77 implementation of the algorithm. Whilst the program is able to handle general differential equations, it was specifically designed for the solution of groundwater problems. The source code is available from the author.
