Abstract

Research carried out on repeat prescribing indicates the low quality of repeat management. This paper reports on the project methodology, some initial results and ongoing work on the UK NHS Repeat Prescribing Project currently under way in the North East of England aimed at developing an intervention to improve the quality of repeat prescribing.
