Assessing marine engineering course becomes more challenging as differences arise from the gap in experience and skill among staff and students who have a different background in mechanical, electrical, naval architecture, marine and offshore engineering. However, the challenges can be successfully overcome through careful and thoughtful planning, using feedback on assessment. It allows the students to be involved throughout the assessment process through both peer and self-assessment. This paper covers the proposed works on using online rubric form to provide feedback to the students as well as to obtain feedback from them.
