Abstract

This paper describes the ICT platform for electromobility services implemented and promoted in the EC co-financed project smartCEM (www.smartcem-project.eu). The electromobility services implemented by the project are EV-sharing management, EV-efficient driving, EV-navigation, EV-trip management, EV-charging station management and are piloted in 4 different pilot sites in Europe: Barcelona, San Sebastian and Gipuzkoa county, Newcastle, Reggio Emilia. The overall objective of the project is to prove that user acceptance of electric vehicles can be increased by at least 15% by the means of ICT services. The smartCEM ICT platform provides a common framework as a set of applications, services, data and software components shared inside the pilot sites of the project, considering modularity, flexibility, adaptability and interoperability at European level as the key factors. Maps, traffic data, POIs, Public Transport data are imported as standard interfaces, enabling the platform be open for potential connections with external systems.
