Abstract

An account of the exploratory and experimental processes leading to a series of performances of "Dry Stone", a piece by Bennett Hogg and Matthew Sansom produced during the Landscape Quartet project. It includes brief philosophical reflections on the nature of knowledge gained and the position of practice in relation to research.
