Abstract

Tribalism is Killing Us (TIKU) is a co-authored feature documentary and collaborative story-telling project (see Digital X-Roads below for more information). The film explores the condition of contemporary tribalism; the mechanisms of differentiation used by humans to set in motion processes of othering, exclusion and discrimination, through a visual collage of original and archive footage, interviews, user-generated content, and social psychology experiments.
