Abstract

This Special Issue of the Refugee Survey Quarterly enquires into the role of international organizations and international human rights monitoring bodies in the protection of refugees. It gathers selected papers presented at a Workshop held in Brussels in June 2013, where participants discussed research exploring the process of law-making and the role of international organizations in the development of legal standards, including the development of new trends. The Special Issue presents the preliminary findings of research in this area.
