Venues across the city of Adelaide Australia: The Samstag Museum, the Contemporary Art Center South Australia, the Experimental Art Foundation, the South Australian School Art Gallery Curated Exhibition. Worlds in Collision as an exhibition of large scale art works that looked at practices that explore the edges of one model of understanding inflected by the traditions of Enlightenment Scientific Rationalism and infer or explore the possibilities of other models outside of those narratives. Artists were Artur Zmijewski, Benedict Drew, Fred Tomaselli, Susan Hiller, Katie Paterson, Paul Laffoley, Ra Di Martino, and Khalil Joriege and Joanna Hadjithomas. The exhibition made reference to a set of ideas and engagements that were part of the engagements of the sixties counter-culture and sought to suggest ways that such approaches might have resonance and effectiveness in ways of imagaine alternative models of possibility in the contemporary situation. Worlds in Collision was Funded by the Adelaide Festival, the British Council, the Polish Government the Italian Ministry of Culture The University of South Australia and the Participating Galleries. Global budget A$450,000 approx
