Abstract

....Alright, but apart from the sanitation, medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, the roads, fresh water and public health..................what have the Romans ever done for us?'An organizational review of the British Society for Haematology (BSH) was started in November 2013 and completed in June 2014. Many members of the Society participated in the surveys and have given their views, including those on the Shape of Training Greenaway report. Members' views were incorporated in the review and these have informed the eight strategic aims agreed at the Board meeting on 10 June 2014. The BSH will aim to realise these strategic aims over the next three to five years.
