As part of the exhibition ‘Speculations: Making Thinking Drawing’ John Bowers and I presented this performance / installation. 2 dotmatrix printers are connected by a Mobius strip of paper on which is printed the text of the Canterbury tales. The text is sampled by computer vision and audio techniques and reprinted performing a history of print, through palimpsest.
