Abstract

This article reflects upon some tactics and strategies devised to enable Chinese University learners to become participants in and creators of knowledge within the context of a British HE institution situated in China. This was done through introducing a ‘Transmedia Project’ as an assessment component within a challenging first year undergraduate module ‘Communication and Technology.’
