This presentation will reflect on a series of works developed in the context of a New Expressions Commission in collaboration with the Cumbria Museum Consortium, including Abbott Hall, Tulle House and Dove Cottage. The works established connection between the three museums, their collections and the region. The presentation addresses how to use collections as a trigger for new thinking to attract new audiences to existing collections.
