Abstract

The material discussed in this book consists of the most recent research work of the authors which was presented during RailNewcastle Talks 2016 and it is a joint venture that includes rail policies and practices from all over Europe and beyond. Although it's got a rail research focus the material is excellent for the preparation and delivery of rail, transport and logistics orientated courses and programmes. This book is written with the support of UIC, which is the International Union of Railways.
