Abstract

Different deformation histories have been used prior to cooling through the phase transformation to study the effect of deformation on the austenite-ferrite transformation. By comparing transformation after forward and reversed deformations the relevant parameters have been decoupled in a manner that was otherwise not possible. (C) 2002 Acta Materialia Inc.
