Integer-forcing (IF) linear receiver has been recently introduced for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) fading channels. The integer coefficients have to be chosen based on the channel realizations, and the choice of such coefficients is known to determine the receiver performance. It has been proved that Integer-forcing receiver outperforms the minimum mean square estimator (MMSE) and zero-forcing (ZF) linear receivers in MIMO. In this paper, we propose Integer-forcing receiver for Multi-Carrier Code Division Multiple Access (MC-CDMA) systems. The Integer-forcing receiving algorithm for MC-CDMA is derived. The simulation results show that the bit error rate (BER) of Integer-forcing algorithm can approach the Maximum-likelihood (ML) performance with a few decibels, and largely outperforms other linear receivers, such as MMSE and ZF. © 2013 IEEE.
