Abstract

© 2014 Springer-Verlag London. All rights are reserved. This is a retrospective review of 133 patients with osteogenic sarcoma. The study describes an approach to treatment in which, recognizing the poor outcomes of this disease, the primary tumour was treated with radiotherapy rather than by early amputation. Delayed amputation was offered to those who did not develop metastatic disease.
