Abstract

Provides and overview of the innovations the DfT is supporting in the area of road transportation. It considers the policy and support of technology and innovation in the core pillars of road transport: connected vehicles and infrastructure; electrification of vehicles; automated and driverless vehicles; and the emerging business models that will ultimately evolve into the catch-all term of Mobility as a Service (MaaS).
