3D space analysis of magnetic field in a brushless DC Torus motor

A magnetic field calculated in a 3D space of a disc-type double-sided stator permanent magnet brushless DC motor is presented. The calculations were made using the OPERA-3D package with the TOSCA module. Torque and induced EMF results obtained on the basis of computed magnetic field were compared with test results.
