Abstract

© 2018 IEEE. This paper improves an existing adaptive droop based regulation dispatch algorithm proposed in 'Distributed coordination of Electric Vehicles providing V2G regulation services' by [E. L. Karfopoulos, K. A. Panourgias N., and D. Hatziargyriou]. The paper proposes an innovative and effective framework for providing Vehicle-to-grid regulation services. However there are some small mistakes and weaknesses in the paper with respect to feedback signals for the controllers and the potential incapability of fulfilling charging demands of Electric Vehicles. Furthermore, the proposed framework can be improved by introducing hourly corrections and prediction intervals.
