Abstract

We respond to the recent article “Prognostication of energy use and environmental impacts for recycle system of municipal solid waste management”, published in the Journal of Cleaner Production by Nabavi-Pelesaraei et al. (2017), (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jclepro.2017.04.033). Our aim is to show that a number of incorrect assumptions and methodologies employed in the analysis led to invalid results and conclusions.
