Abstract

Discussion of the relations between digital technologies and their conceptual environment, and new approaches to live art. Reference to participatory utopias formulated by Richard Wagner and Adolphe Appia, and their possible ramifications through today’s interactive media. Paper initially presented in the context of a colloquium and exhibition devoted to stage designer and theatre historian Jacques Polieri.
