The Newcastle University research output collection, currently available on ePrints, will shortly be moving to a new open repository platform, Figshare. To prepare for the data migration we have paused adding new content to ePrints, and will resume once the new repository is launched. During this time you will continue to have access to ePrints (but no new content will appear). We will share updates here when available.

Abstract

A room-temperature intramolecular oxy-and aminoarylation of alkenes with aryldiazonium salts has been developed using a novel gold and photoredox dual-catalytic system. The compatibility of these two catalytic modes has been established for the first time and demonstrates the potential of this system as a method to expand the scope of nucleophilic addition reactions to carbon-carbon multiple bonds. © 2013 American Chemical Society.
