Abstract

A creative film exploring the impact of annual wildfires on the Chiquitania region of eastern Bolivia, told through the voices of members of the communities who must face them each year.This film was an output of the AHRC funded 'Playing with fire' project. for more information see https://playingwithwildfire.org. The film premiered at the 2023 LASA international Film Festival, and is screening at festivals internationally.
