To address (1) the contribution to the Faculty budget, (2) the decline in revenue and (3) generating sustainable income, it is crucial for NUIS to explore alternative avenues beyond traditional approaches. These opportunities are fees from postgraduate candidates, preferably through programs like EDB-IPP or company-funded initiatives, i.e. encouraging companies to fund their staff members for MPhil or PhD programs with NU, welcoming more self-funded postgraduate candidates from the industry engagement exercise.
