Abstract

"Tint of Green" is a collection of flash fiction. The stories have two things in common. All were inspired by real life events, though some of them seemed somewhat surreal. Another thing that binds them together is ‘greenness’, in its various literal and metaphorical understandings, both positive – youth, innocence, beginning, new life, hope and freedom, and also its negative connotations – inexperience, naivety, envy, greed and disgust.
