Abstract

In November 2024 Easton was awarded a Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST) grant to develop typesetting and letterpress skills with master printer Graham Moss at Incline Press, Oldham. Over several months of intensive visits, Easton deepened technical knowledge while expanding visual practice. Alongside skill development, the scholarship enabled Easton to reconfigure her studio in Newcastle and embed letterpress methods into teaching at Newcastle University. Graham Moss’s sudden death in July 2025 marked a profound loss to the letterpress community; his generosity, political commitment, and passion for print history continue to shape Easton's practice, teaching, and collaborative ethos.
