For Remember Nature 2025, Uta Kögelsberger restaged Some Kind of Love / Forest Choir, a participatory outdoor performance in Newcastle’s Jesmond Dene. Drawing on research suggesting that music helps accelerate the growth of plants, members of the public and local choirs were invited to sing the Dene back to health, through a group performance of a love song to the environment, composed by Georgie Buchanan in collaboration with the artist. The work, originally created with the Brussels Opera Youth Choir, is part of Kögelsberger’s wider exploration of the climate crisis and coincides with her solo exhibition at Hatton Gallery, running until 24 Jan 2026.The performance was filmed on 18th October and live streamed on 4th November as part of the Remember Nature 2025 Day of Action. It was then re-staged at Tate Modern on the 30/03/2026
