Abstract

In the wake of the events of 9/11 this essay appeared in a special issue on 'Globalization, Terror, and Dialogue', which includes contributions by Richard Falk, Hazel henderson, James H. Mittelman, Majid Tehranian and others. It calls for a humane global dialogic response to the demise of the Cold war international order rather than a turn to the 'war on terror' rhetorical framework.
