Abstract

Concerned about the growing instability in Mitrovica, which is becoming a symbol of nationalistic polarization in Kosovo, we draw on our experiences as aid workers and academic observers in the Brcko District in Bosnia-Herzegovina, to suggest the creation of establishment of a Special District of Mitrovica.
