Open Access padlockePrints

The Newcastle University research output collection, currently available on ePrints, will shortly be moving to a new open repository platform, Figshare. To prepare for the data migration we have paused adding new content to ePrints, and will resume once the new repository is launched. During this time you will continue to have access to ePrints (but no new content will appear). We will share updates here when available.

Abstract

The title compound, [Zr(C5H5)2(C6H5) 2], has two cyclopentadienyl and two phenyl ligands arranged in a distorted tetrahedral geometry around the Zr atom. Steric interactions produce an opening of the Cp-Zr-Cp angle to 131.7 (1)° and a tilting of both phenyl rings in their own planes about the Zr-C bonds by several degrees.
