Experimental measurements of the infrared predissociation spectrum of the H+3 ion are briefly reviewed. The spectrum involves states between -1100 cm-1 and above +2000cm-1 of the dissociation limit into H+ + H2. Over 26 000 lines were seen in the wavenumber range 872-1094 cm-1.
