Abstract

By very slow diffusion of aqueous solutions of CoCl2·6H2O and K6[W4Te4(CN)12]·5H 2O through silica gel, single crystals of [Co(H2O)4]3[W4Te 4(CN)12]·15.38H2O were obtained. A complete X-ray structure determination reveals an extremely porous, three-dimensional neutral cluster-expanded framework structure with large water-filled cuboidal cavities. © Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH, 2000.
