Abstract

The needs of children with acquired brain injury (ABI) frequently highlight deficiencies in services for children with disability that often struggle to achieve the flexibility and responsiveness these children demand. This article aims to provide the reader with an understanding of some of the needs of the child and family after ABI so as to inform personal practice and local service planning. © 2002 Elsevier Science Ltd.
