Review of four major installation works which, over the last ten years, have linked site-specific physical attributes with electronic and online features to create “mixed reality environments”. Works studied are Anonymous Muttering by Knowbotic Research, Vectorial Elevation by Raphael Lozano-Hemmer, Can You See Me Now? by Blast Theory, and Acoustic Space Lab, organised by RIXC/ Re-Lab.
