Abstract

A service to provide personalized information by web based services on job vaccancies and training courses by public transport to the passenger by EMIRES project was discussed. The strategic objective of EMIRES was to develop and demonstrate a network of regional service centres (RSC's)by offering packages of intelligent, value added services. The RSC represented a hub at which system computers were based. EMIRES used external data and applied web services technology to access business logic of the appropriate data source.
