Multiphysics computational modelling framework for safety critical concrete structures is considered through the development of a comprehensive thermo-hygromechanical coupling (T-H-M), in order to account for the development of spallation pressures at exposures to high temperatures. Simulation of the ageing process in prestressed concrete pressure vessels is also considered. © Springer 2007.
