Abstract

The title compound, [Cu(C19H20N2O4)], is a mononuclear copper(II) Schiff base complex. The CuII ion is surrounded by two imine N and two phenolate O atoms of the tetra-dentate ligand in a square-planar coordination with a slight tetra-hedral distortion. The dihedral angle between the CuN2 and CuO2 planes is 25.07 (9)°. © International Union of Crystallography 2007.
