A case of metastatic facial skin involvement from colonic carcinoma is reported where, despite radiotherapy given preoperatively, the tumour continued to grow. The patient remained disease free for 8 months after excision and reconstruction, but died of pulmonary metastases, (C) 2000 Harcourt Publishers Ltd.
