Notes: This paper is the principle output from the final phase of the RELU/LWEC funded Sustainable Uplands project, which proposes five principles that govern knowledge exchange processes. Although framed for an environmental management audience, the paper addresses questions arising from a research agenda for knowledge exchange developed with a group of 20 internationally renowned researchers.
