Abstract

This article reflects on the emergence of transnational socities and their migration across national borders. It argues for a new paradigm in migration politics and migration studies which overcomes the traditional thinking in nation states and national borders. The Forschungsjournal neue soziale Bewegungen is the leading German journal in social movements; it is a peer reviewed journal.
