Abstract

This article was published in the leading journal in International Relations in Germany. It is peer reviewed. The article inquiries the UN counter-terrorism politics since the SC Resolution 1373. Theoretically speaking it asks for UN approaches to counter transnational security threats such as terrorism, in how far international law approaches the appearance of private actors in global politics and overcomes the paradigm of sovereign nation states.
