Abstract

Welcome back to The ConnectED podcast. I am thrilled to bring you an extraordinary collection in which some incredible students take the driver’s seat and host dynamic conversations with professionals from across the higher education sector, discussing the vital topic of Student Belonging.This series, titled “Voices of Belonging”, embodies the principle of “nothing for them without them,” ensuring that the voices and experiences of students are at the forefront of these important discussions.Our conversation today is hosted by Callum Perry. Callum is a PhD researcher, exploring the impact of GenAI in undergraduate teaching and learning for developing critical being. Today, Callum is talking to Clare Guilding, Professor of pharmacology and medical education at the School of Medicine at Newcastle University. Clare wears a number of different hats at work including being deputy head of school and the head of recruitment and admissions.
