Abstract

This book, the second volume, examines international law on war and peace through the lens of feminist legal approaches. The book examines environmental security, food security, peacekeeping, peacebuilding and peace agreements, as well as the legal regimes that permit, restrain, regulate, and govern both war and peace. Through the drawing in and the development of a plural feminist approach the book challenges and rethinks contemporary gender work through an enlargement of the methodological and substantive range of feminist writing within the field.
